Hello to my neighbors who live in precinct 2205.

My name is Kim George and I have lived in this precinct for 30 years. I have been the precinct chair here for around 20 years. I am hoping this new website will help you get to know me. My family and I live at 1605 Larkspur Drive. Please feel free to come by and say hi or contact me with anything you need for the elections. You can get your yard signs from me and let me know if you want any information about the current candidates. On this website you can look at election information that is current for you. You will be able to see dates of early voting and when the general election will be. There is a tab for party contracts where you can fill out a form if you need anything. If you would like to volunteer to help walk your precinct, make calls or just spread the word to your neighbors, please get in contact with me. 

Just a tidbit of info about me. I grew up in Arlington, went to Bailey Jr. High and Arlington High. I moved out of the state in the 80's and returned in 1990 with my husband and first born. We have three adult children now and have lived at the same address since 1995. I just recently retired from being a Guest Relations Manager for a storm chasing tour company. I love my neighborhood and you can see me walking my two dogs, Harry Potter and Hermione around the neighborhood. If you see me out walking, just come by and say hi.

A precinct chair has a tough job - providing election and candidate information at the local level to friends, neighbors and acquaintances can be a daunting task. One of the ways having a precinct website can help is by the News/Commentary section on every registered precinct chair home page. This section provides a consistent place to read relevant articles that you think are interesting for your precinct friends and neighbors to be aware of. This can also be a place where you list articles that friends and neighbors say were interesting to them also. The registered precinct chair can add articles to the home page in the time it takes to copy a link and an article title into a website form. Articles can be added, removed and edited, and you can also upload your own news/commentary to the website in a variety of formats.
