To All, Greetings,
We are fast approaching the next major election, the March Primaries where we choose our Republican candidate to represent us in the November election. Early voting begins February 17 and runs through the 28th. Election day is on March 3rd. The ballot is packed full (4 pages) of candidates from the Federal (US Senators and Representative), State (Governor down, Railroad, Ag Commissioner, Comptroller, Supreme Court Judges) and county (Law enforcement, Judges, Clerks) in addition, there are 10 propositions on the ballot. An informed voter will reduce the time spent at the polling location. There are several places you can research the candidates to include but not limited to the individual's Facebook page, True Texas Project website, USA.gov in addition to all the mailers you will be receiving in the upcoming weeks.
There are just under 1900 voters in our precinct to date with our precinct covering from Forest Ridge to the east side of Murphy Drive, Cummings Drive to Cheek Sparger Road. My goal for this election is to increase our voting percentage in our precinct. This election will be a battle to keep the last of the largest counties in Texas conservative. Join me to get the vote out and have the highest precinct voting percentage in Tarrant County.
Our nation was designed to be governed by We The People and our obligation is to raise our voice at the ballot box. Our vote is the biggest and frankly most powerful mechanism to let our elected officials know that they work for us!

Are you interested in understanding the election process? There are several ways to get involved.
Precinct Chair - communicates election information to the precinct, attends the Tarrant County GOP Executive Committee meetings, leads the precinct team during the County Convention.
Precinct Captain/Lead - assists the Precinct Chair in communicating election information, invited to attend the County Convention.
Precinct helpers - assists with phone calls or mailers, invited to attend the County Convention.
Poll Watcher - trained to watch the election team during election hours during either early voting hour or election day or both. Times and dates are flexible for your schedule.
Poll worker - paid position to work the elections for either early voting or election day or both.
Alternate judge - paid position to assist the election judge on election day.
Election judge - paid position to ensure the election is run according to the rules and laws set by the Secretary of State.
