Our next election is our Primary Runoff on May 26, 2026, but early voting begins on May 18-22.   We are voting on four races. For your Texas Senator in Congress:  John Cornyn vs. Ken Paxton, Senator Mayes Middleton vs. Chip Roy for Attorney General  for Railroad Commissioner: Jim Wright vs. Bo French, and for Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3: Thomas Smith vs. Ashley Fox.   You can look up your ballot  here: Tarrant County Voter Lookup.

Locally, we had a very successful election. We are overjoyed to have Constable Jody Johnson serving us again in Precinct 4. Additionally, we have a new Tax Assessor Collector, Rick Barnes, who will do an outstanding job of serving us not just in the Assessor's office but also as chairman of the Tarrant Appraisal District. 

The Texas State Legislature meets every other year for 140 days. Session was on January 14, 2025 and will continued through May. To watch the Texas House of Representatives during live session click the link below.

Our state representative is Charlie Geren and our state senator is now Democrat Taylor Rehmet. We have another election for this position in November and Republican Leigh Wambsganss will be on the ballot.
