Nov 2, 2021 Constitutional Amendment Election Results
Updated on Thursday, Nov 4, 2021

All 8 of the proposed constitutional amendments overwhelmingly passed based on the unofficial voting results late Tuesday night. The Tarrant County bond proposal regarding highway improvement funding passed with a large majority of voters, but the bond proposal regarding the Tarrant County District Attorney's proposed office upgrade failed to be approved by a majority of voters.

Preparations are now underway for the upcoming 2022 election season, which is a Gubernatorial Election (The Governor of Texas is the highest office on the ballot next year). There will be some interesting local races! The first election of the 2022 election cycle is the Primary, which is scheduled to occur in March pending any court action by the Democrats regarding the currently Legislature and Governor signed redistricting maps. After that are three more elections, the Primary Runoff (typically a month or so later), Municipal Elections (typically in May) and the General Election that will happen next November 2022. I will continue to post information about the Republican candidates from now till the Primary, so check in when you have a curiosity for what will be on the ballot next!
