This past Tuesday evening, August 16,2027 at the Republican Assembly monthly meeting held at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens, Dr. Robin Armstrong spoke on the current state of COVID injections and answered questions from those present. I was in the audience, and the following are my observations and recollections of the meeting.

Dr. Armstrong is a practicing physician overseeing several medical hospitals and facilities in the Galveston and Texas City area. He is also the National Republican Committeeman representing the Republican Party in Texas. He has an extensive resume with Republican and community involvement at many different levels of engagement. Dr. Armstrong partners with physicians, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide medical care and hospital services through a network of facilities and physicians. Dr. Armstrong and his colleagues were the first doctors in the nation to research medical practices and the use of hydroxychloroquine in a COVID outbreak in an elderly care facility associated with his medical practice that resulted in all but one (who had co-morbidities) of the 39 patients recovering successfully. Historical medical records show that typically 15-20% of nursing home patients that contract a respiratory illness succumb to it. Part of his research for his medical decisions was derived from medical research papers from France and China where people were successfully treated for respiratory diseases related to the corona virus.

Since the leftist media (Rolling Stone, MSNBC, CNN and others) downplays, if not misrepresents his medical practice that continues to this day to be successful in treating COVID patients, I was eager to hear from Dr. Armstrong himself on his side of the story. Due to the fact that the previous 4 month review by the Texas Medical Board of Dr. Armstrong was dismissed, I wanted to know if he still maintained his medical views in light of the current medical and political environment. The rest of this post will focus on the highlights of what was presented by Dr. Armstrong.

"Hydroxychloroquine has been approved for prescriptive use by doctors in the United States for over 60 years"

"ln April 2020 hospitals all over the country, including New York were using hydroxychloroquine, zinc and vitamin D treatments successfully for COVID patients."

"ln America, bureaucracy will enslave us, not a Hitler or a politician..."

Dr Armstrong stated that his medical facilities were the first in America to effectively use hydroxychloroquine in treating COVID patients. He thought at the time of his first successful treatments it was a win-win situation since the patients and their families were happy with the outcome, the doctors he practiced with were happy with the results, and they had saved the medical infrastructure costs that would have been significant if the treatments were not successful. Dr. Armstrong then thoughtfully and earnestly stated:

"Little did I know the storm that was about to come to us terms of the national attention we received."

Dr. Armstrong related that the fear based narrative promoted by leftist media, bureaucrats and politicians regarding COVID was being undercut by these overwhelmingly successful treatments, so tremendous pressure was placed on doctors here in Texas and around the country to forego preventative and prophylactic treatment in favor of anticipated vaccines. Those vaccines were being developed to significantly profit the pharmaceutical companies. Currently the federal government has purchased massive quantities of the COVID vaccines and boosters at significant cost and are financially vested in propagating their usage.

Beginning early last year, Dr. Armstrong has had private conversations with other practicing physicians, most of whom related that they have hydroxychloroquine ready to use for their family, but are afraid to prescribe it to their patients because they fear losing their state medical board licenses. Some of his physician friends in Democrat controlled states have already lost their licenses for following the same treatments, with the same successful results.

With that said, Dr. Armstrong shifted the evening to his concerns with our American liberties and freedoms.

We can never, ever, ever let them shut down our churches again."

He talked about the struggle between people that were fearful of the unknown aspects of COVID, and the balance between preserving individual freedoms guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. He related a few of the struggles he personally experienced in his own church and the RNC:

"Verizon shut down the RNC's text messaging capability during RNC meetings and critical times during the 2020 Presidential campaign."

Noticing that wearing masks and even double masks was causing unnecessary fear among patients, the CEO of one of his hospitals asked Dr. Armstrong to speak with other doctors and ask them to consider whether the masks were ineffective and were perhaps sending the wrong message to their patients.

He had numerous conversations with his church leaders and fellow parishioners of the folly of closing the church down due to illegal government orders. The Pastor and leaders did agree with him in time and the church was re-opened and has remained open to meet the needs of people to this day and will not succumb to future illegal government shutdowns.

Dr. Armstrong then began to talk about what we should be doing.

"Believers must defy the narrative ... we need to define the narrative."

We then viewed a video titled "Seeing 2O2O" that was produced by physicians across the United States, including Dr. Bryan Tyson of Valley Urgent Care in California who are concerned with the direction of the American medical community in the current political climate. This video will be promoted throughout the rest of this year to a wider audience, with the hopes of reaching people with the reality of alarming government intrusion, coercion and control of the medical narrative regarding COVID.

Reminiscing, Dr. Armstrong stated that American people typically will not accept socialism when presented with the ultimate agenda, but:

"...when [socialism is] presented in terms of compassion, they will accept every tenet of communism."

Healthcare issues tug at the hearts of American people, and too many people appear willing to sacrifice their freedom and rights for promises of health "safety". Ronald Reagan was quoted for the story of PV2 Martin August Treptow regarding the "soldier's Pledge" found on his person after a battle where he died. Dr. Armstrong's sober question after relating this story was:

"How much are you [we] willing to give up for safety?"

Following up on this, Dr. Armstrong stated that we must start taking ground back from the leftists in America. They will leave you alone if you are not effective, but will attack you as if their lives depended on it if we begin to define the narrative in our nation. He has seen this personally and implored us to recognize that we would face the same if we haven't already experienced this. The official narrative is destroying the Constitutional freedoms inherent to our nation if we do not learn how to define the narrative going forward. He provided these sentiments regarding defining this narrative:

"Define the narrative, and you will get attacked."

"The left will leave you alone, if you are not effective."

"We have got to start taking ground back from the left, and it will result in a fight."

According to Dr. Armstrong, we are called to fight. We need to stay healthy, eat healthy, be healthy, live to 105 years old and still be able to block walk and be influential in our communities.

"With God's help we can destroy the powerful evil forces against us. Pray! Expect Attacks!"

I have wondered about the efficacy of the RNC, especially since it seemed they did not seem to support President Trump when he needed it the most during the 2020 Presidential Election. Dr. Armstrong's comments at this point in his presentation addressed these concerns. I did not know that a Federal Judge in New Jersey had placed an injunction against the RNC from investing or participating in ballot integrity issues since 1982. Dr. Armstrong stated that the RNC had appealed the decision from that point on through the years, but the New Jersey Federal Judge continued to renew the injunction up until the judge died. The judge who replaced him is a President Obama appointment, who removed the injunction when presented with the appeal from the RNC.

This is why the RNC was able to form a national committee to address election integrity issues for the first time since 1982 as of late last year. They have appointed members and operatives of this committee in every state and are working to address the unique election integrity issues in each state with that state's Republican party members. The RNC is currently working 19 lawsuits regarding the 2020 election in multiple key states.

Regarding President Trump, Dr. Armstrong related that the RNC paid all of President Trump's legal bills during his tenure in office. He also stated that he and his RNC colleagues strongly supported President Trump in multiple ways that were often not visible to the public. To this day, he supports President Trump, and pensively inferred that the 2020 election results were a sham. lt seemed apparent to me that he and others that speak out against the results of the 2020 election are weighing the costs of speaking to this narrative in stronger terms with their ability to function in their public roles with the embedded leftist organizations that are actively punishing people through means of the financial, social and news media, and government bureaucratic institutions.

ln support of this sentiment, Dr. Armstrong stated that 135 legislators across the country were flipped to Republican seats across the nation in the 2020 elections with 3 state legislatures flipped to the Republican side. This stands in contrast to the Presidential results which don't align with this reality that indicated the support for conservative and Republican principles.

Of practical value is what Dr. Armstrong related regarding the narrative we should be articulating.

"People who care don't just say you need to get the vaccine, or you will die. People who care offer solutions."

"A genuinely caring culture provides options such as losing weight, controlling diabetes and blood pressure, zinc and vitamin D treatments, and other prophylactic methods that have proven successful in practice."

ln closing, Dr. Robin Armstrong, a black American, stated that 70% of the blacks in New York are not vaccinated, and it would seem a racist thing for the Democrat Governor and Democrat NYC Mayor to mandate that the unvaccinated cannot enter restaurants or gyms in New York city. He concludes with this observation and relevant historical facts that the Democrat party has long been the party promoting racism. His appeal is for other blacks to consider that:

"...even if the Republican party has not done much for you, consider that the Democrat party has actually harmed us and our opportunities in America."

He ended by whimsically stating that there are many wealthy blacks in American that would never have had that opportunity in other countries. His hope is that they, and all of us would recognize that reality and support those freedoms and principles that are enabled by principled and conservative candidates in future elections en masse.
