District 91 State House Race - Representative Stephanie Klick
Updated on Thursday, May 9, 2024

If you have been following me for some time, you would know that I support Rep. Stephanie Klick for her integrity, relational skills, her devotion to her family and her compassion for those who struggle with various health and personal issues. She will be up for election again this coming year, and there are signs that the previous opponent is going to attempt another run against her. This opponent has been involved in the past in the selling of websites, some of which were sexually oriented in nature. His response was that he is a changed person now, and that people should accept that as youthful indiscretion. His campaign ads demonstrated further that his youthful indiscretion had only morphed into another form - campaign exaggerations and even some outright lies regarding Rep. Kiick's legislative record. In addition, one of his campaign workers who worked the polls threatened to kill Stephanie and her husband, That person known then as Sarah Pike is now facing criminal charges for death threats to other elected leaders in Maine.

The money behind Rep. Klick opponent's campaign comes from an organization that has leaders that have been known to associate with white supremecist, anti-Semite leader Nick Fuentes. While some of what the organization advocates for is considered common sense initiatives, their vitriol for Rep. Klick is shocking given that Rep. Klick has been closely aligned with most of their organizations stated goals that conservatives largely agree on. I believe this indicates a motivation that goes beyond policy differences. This animus is evident in the previous campaign literature of Rep. Klick's opponent that could only make outlandish accusations of Rep. Klick without providing a believable or verifiable indication of how replacing Rep. Klick would better serve the voters of District 91.

Research into David Lowe's past by the Texas Voice revealed that HD 91 Candidate Lowe “Not Eligible for Re-Hire as a Peace Officer” by Collin County Sheriff. The article goes into detail on the facts surrounding Mr. Lowe's past and his difficulty with relationships and integrity.

We have a seasoned, respectful and humble state Representative in Stephanie Klick representing us in the Texas House that has gained seniority status and respect among other House Representatives. Why would anyone want to risk losing that conservative expertise, responsiveness, and effective leadership in our House District?
