Join the Transportation and Public Works Department at this open house to share the 60% complete design plans. Phase 1 is a new proposed roadway from Beltmill Parkway to Wagley Robertson Road to the east. The project features a four-lane divided arterial with intersection improvements, streetlights, and shared paths with the ability to expand to six lanes in the future.

One of the ways having a precinct website can help is by the News/Commentary section on every registered precinct chair home page. This section provides a consistent place to read relevant articles that you think are interesting for your precinct friends and neighbors to be aware of. This can also be a place where you list articles that friends and neighbors say were interesting to them also. The registered precinct chair can add articles to the home page in the time it takes to copy a link and an article title into a website form. Articles can be added, removed and edited, and you can also upload your own news/commentary to the website in a variety of formats.
